Who We Are
At the heart of The Wander Crew is our family: A single dad and his three kids exploring the world together.
Through our Project 1177 mission, we are working to visit the New Seven Wonders of the World while experiencing the cultures, cities, and communities that surround them.
Travel has always been our way to bond, learn, and create lifelong memories. From navigating airports and trying new foods to wandering through ancient streets and modern cities, every journey brings us closer together.
Why We Created The Wander Crew
Travel is more than just seeing new places; it’s about experiencing life, breaking stereotypes, and showing what’s possible. As a family, we want to:
- Inspire other families to travel (even on a budget!)
- Break the stereotypes about Black fathers and single-parent travel
- Share real, practical travel tips from firsthand experience
- Capture memories and encourage others to do the same
Where We’ve Been (So Far...)
Our travels have taken us to some incredible places, each with its own story:
- Ghana 🇬🇭 – The trip that started it all! A journey of culture, history, and self-discovery.
- Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦 – Exploring our home province, from the Rocky Mountains to hidden gems.
- Las Vegas, USA 🇺🇸 – A mix of bright lights, entertainment, and unexpected adventures.
- Jamaica 🇯🇲 – Connecting with family roots and experiencing island life.
- Across Canada & the U.S. – Road trips, national parks, and countless memories in between.
